My Journey

I am the lineage breaker, the first to look unflinchingly at the generational wounds that shaped my family—the first to seek therapy and acknowledge the mental health struggles that had silently defined my family tree for generations.

In 2017, standing at the precipice of burnout after years as a television producer, I answered a calling too powerful to ignore. With my mother's ashes, $700, and a one-way ticket, I began a "soul sabbatical" across 12 countries, surrendering to divine guidance rather than itineraries.

My greatest teachers were indigenous mothers and grandmothers whose sacred traditions had been preserved through generations of women. Each encounter revealed another layer of healing on my journey.

As a bi-racial Black woman, I've experienced firsthand how systemic challenges affect women of color. This understanding fuels my commitment to creating spaces where rest becomes resistance and wellness becomes revolutionary.

This work has allowed me to create healing for my lineage – seven generations back and forward. Every retreat I design serves as a sacred container where others can access this same transformative power.

Today, I bring these practices to organizations ready for authentic change. My journey from burnout to renewal informs how I help teams transcend exhaustion, honor diverse voices, and cultivate environments where creativity and wellbeing naturally thrive.

My Approach

I weave ancestral wisdom traditions with evidence-based practices, creating sacred containers where ancient knowledge meets modern understanding. Each experience intentionally collaborates with indigenous practitioners, supports women's co-ops, and ensures fair wages flow directly to local communities.

My work extends to partnerships with non-profits, social justice organizations, corporations, and entrepreneurs seeking to bring connection and creativity to their missions. These collaborations create ripples of transformation within larger systems.

My methodology centers rest as resistance and wellness as a revolutionary act – particularly for women of color whose access to these spaces has historically been limited. This commitment to collective liberation extends to supporting other retreat leaders, understanding that true transformation requires many voices and a shared vision of a more just, healing-centered world.
